Heavy snow hits airports and roads across Europe

Snow and freezing temperatures severely disrupted airports in Germany and Britain and caused chaos and deaths on roads across Europe on Tuesday.

Greater than two hundred flights were cancelled at Frankfurt airport in Germany, the continent's 3rd busiest, at the same time as southern German states have been blanketed by snow.

Massive portions of Poland have been lined in thick snow, causing loads of injuries on the roads and at least four people have been killed on snowbound roads within the Czech Republic.

The Polish capital Warsaw used to be tousled up through massive visitors jams after 30 centimetres of snow fell on the grounds that Monday.

Lorry drivers had been stranded of their automobiles for 20 hours close to Warsaw after a truck skidded and blocked the road.
