M. S. Dhoni, the Indian Cricket Team captain, bagged a staggering 42 million USD endorsement deal. This deal has put Dhoni ahead of Tendulkar’s record. Tendulkar was once the most expensive sports person in India to get to endorse any product.
Popularity can take you places and in case of Dhoni, it has made him a multi millionaire. Dhoni was world’s highest paid cricketer last year and was earning 10 millions USD whereas Tendulkar was at 8 millions USD. With his current endorsement deal with Rhiti Sports Management now Dhoni has broken the record of Tendulkar’s deal of 180 crore with Iconix.
This good news has come to Dhoni’s life just after he got married, his marriage is proving to be very lucky for him. Hope it proves lucky for Indian cricket as well!
